So it’s the start of another year! Wow! Who could have imagined we would already me starting the 2009-2010 school year. Hi everyone. As you may already know, my name is Mr. Khan and I am the proud principal of Community Outreach Academy Middle School. We are a Public Charter School program that serves grades 6th-8th, situated on the Futures campus in North Highlands. As part of our larger charter organization, Gateway Community Charters, we have continued to provide educational options for students in various grade levels. On this site you’ll find information about our school as well as the k-5 portion of Outreach Elementary. With over 290 students this year, 11 teachers, a half time counselor, myself and a great office and support staff, we are a smaller school, but do our best provide everything we can for students. Our work continues to provide a positive learning culture at the school, while continuing to push students to do their very best. Together with our COA elementary school colleagues, we serve over 1000 students this year. Welcome to our website, and welcome to our school.
