The Community Outreach Academy is open to all students in grades K-6. The Academy emphasizes college and university preparation. Through curriculum aligned with state standards, the Academy strives to prepare students to become responsible citizens in the 21st century, a world of cultural diversity and rapid technological change. Students are offered a challenging curriculum featuring Houghton Mifflin Language Arts, Scott Foresman Mathematics and Science and McGraw Hill Social Studies. Houghton Mifflin Language Arts is a scientifically research-based program which works to ensure that No Child is Left Behind.
