Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

Thank you for your interest in Community Outreach Academy Charter School. Please use the links below to apply to COA. You can either submit the application through the google form or complete the fillable PDF and return it to the school site.

If accepted, new enrollees will need to provide proof of residence, proof of birthdate, and immunization records. The applicant will be disqualified if the application is falsified or if incorrect information is provided. Falsifying any information (including address) will void acceptance.  If you have any questions about the process, please call (916) 286-1950.

Open Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

Community Outreach Academy held the lottery on April 19th, 2024. COA will now continue to accept applications and will offer admission as space becomes available in accordance with the admissions and enrollment policy.

COA Enrollment Lottery Preferences

All TK-5th grade new applicants interested in attending Community Outreach Academy must apply. If a lottery is needed, preference will be given according to the charter specifications which are as follows:

  1. Returning COA students
  2. Siblings of returning students who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
  3. Siblings of returning students who reside outside the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
  4. Children of COA employees who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
  5. Children of COA employees who reside outside the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
  6. All other applicants who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
  7. All other applicants
