Tatyana Kisel, Vice Principal
Dr. Tatyana Kisel is a Vice Principal at Community Outreach Academy, Elementary School. She oversees the daily activities and operations within the school as well as works with teachers, students, parents, and members of the community to integrate effective instruction into all classes. Dr. Kisel oversees grades 2-4 as well as interventions and resource specialist program. She has worked at COA for the last 17 years holding a variety of positions such as teacher, instructional coach, vice principal, campus principal (COA Middle), and campus principal of academics. Dr. Kisel holds a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership as well as an administrative credential. Dr. Kisel wrote her doctorate research around special education and acts as an advocate for all students, because in the end, whatever it takes, our kids are worth it.
Dr. Kisel is passionate about children, teachers, and education overall. She volunteers her time at her church in Sunday School as a program coordinator and an instructional coach leading multiple seminars training Sunday School teachers. Dr. Kisel instills such love for education into her own children. Traveling with her husband is one of her favorite things to do. She regains her sanity by visiting the ocean and taking walks at the beach. Dr. Kisel is a very creative person and is always looking for ways to make COA a better place for ALL!
